The Furkids mission is to rescue homeless animals, provide them with the best medical care and nurturing environment while working to find them a forever home. Furkids heals the whole animal, physically and emotionally, restoring its health and its spirit. Watch this video to get just a brief glimpse of the work Furkids does.

Video synopsis:
It’s a new day at Furkids. Today, Spero will stop feeling the pangs of hunger, and start feeling the joy of a full belly. A frightened, injured Lucky G will be rescued from a dark place and will be introduced to a bright new life. 4-month old Sheldon will begin to recover from severe neglect and start a loving relationship with an anxious new family. And Charles Xavier will leave a life of struggle and discover what it’s like to be healthy and loved.

Today, a group of kittens will find the start of a new life at our 10,000 square foot, cage-free shelter, and a group of helpless dogs will escape a life of puppy mill abuse and enter a place of safety and love at our canine shelter. In Furkids' medical facility, sick and injured animals will get the treatment they need.

Today, at Furkids our youth program bonds kids and animals, providing an important, nurturing experience for both of them, while volunteers work tirelessly at our new property in Cumming. When it’s complete, it will provide a 9-acre destination shelter and sanctuary for our cats and dogs, along with a robust medical facility.

Today, at Furkids, a group of lucky kittens and cats will escape euthanasia and hitch a ride with the new Furkids TransFUR program, headed North to waiting families.

Today, at Furkids, it’s another fulfilling day, like the last 365. Last year, Furkids saved over 4,500 animals. Yes, today’s another big day at Furkids.
